Casio doesn’t sell a genuine G-Shock through an authorised Kenyan stockist for under about KSh 14,000. Spotting a fake
Open the case back. The module number printed there should match the model on the dial exactly. This is where most counterfeits fall apart, because whoever’s assembling them isn’t sourcing Casio’s actual components, just copying the outside. Look at the dial printing next; genuine Casio print holds up under a loupe, fakes tend to blur slightly around the edges of the numbers. Packaging matters too, a real unit comes with proper retail box and a warranty card rather than showing up loose in a bag.
